Tips for coloring stained glass
- Think of light shining through glass: jewel tones such as ruby, sapphire and emerald work beautifully.
- Give neighboring panes contrasting colors so each one reads clearly between the lines.
- Repeat a few colors across the design to tie the whole window together.
- Printing: choose "Fit to page" in the print dialog. Heavier paper (120 gsm or 32 lb and up) stops markers bleeding through.
